Greetings and welcome to Collier's Antiques. My name is John Collier and I have been collecting decoys, oyster plates, and American Pottery for over 30 years. I am a member of the Potomac Decoy Collector's Association, The East Coast Decoy Association, The Midwest Decoy Association, a life time member of the Havre de Grace museum, and a life time member of the North East Decoy Museum. I have shown and exibited decoys at all the major shows from the east coast to the mid west. I am also a member of the Oyster Plate Society of America. I live in Severna Park, Maryland which is close to Annapolis the state's capitol. My interest in American Art Pottery started as a youngster. I found pieces of pottery in South Baltimore, were The Chesapeake Pottery Co. was located at the corners of Decatur and Nickolson streets. I lived on Decatur Street and many rare and fine pieces of Bennett and Haynes pottery are to be found in the museums of America I hope you will enjoy them.
